Aims and Scope
SenseXR 2026 explores how immersive and interactive media experiences can support clinical diagnostics, remote rehabilitation, and long-term therapy and recovery.
We bring together researchers, clinicians, and industry practitioners who design or evaluate XR systems for healthcare, with a particular interest in sensor-driven approaches.
Focus areas include:
- Motion & interaction sensing (motion tracking, inertial sensors, force/flex)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Heart rate & PPG
- Eye tracking
- Other physiological or behavioral signals
We welcome work that:
- Designs or evaluates XR experiences for diagnostics and rehabilitation
- Connects sensor data with interaction, feedback, and patient outcomes
- Addresses usability, accessibility, ethics, and deployment in clinical contexts
